The Start

Design Challenge

Many young children experience hesitation, fear, or discomfort while using toilets independently. Conventional school toilets often fail to engage children, making toilet training a stressful experience for both children and caregivers.

The challenge was to design a WC that:

  • Encourages children to use the toilet independently.

  • Reduces fear and anxiety associated with toilet training.

  • Creates a positive emotional connection with the bathroom environment.

  • Teaches empathy and responsibility through everyday interaction.

  • Conserves water while remaining hygienic and easy to maintain.

Imagine the future of glass

The Idea -
GLAAS combines the simplicity of conventional glass with embedded transparent sensing and memory layers. Users write directly onto the glass using standard dry-erase markers or compatible digital pens. Invisible sensors detect every stroke, convert it into digital data, and securely store it within the glass or synchronize it with connected devices.
The physical surface becomes both a workspace and a permanent archive, allowing ideas to remain accessible long after the writing has been erased.

Design Challenge

Conventional manual wheelchairs require repetitive pushing of the wheels, which can cause shoulder strain, limited propulsion efficiency, and reduced user engagement. Many users also struggle with maneuverability over varying indoor and outdoor surfaces.

The challenge was to develop an alternative mobility solution that:

  • Promotes independent movement.

  • Reduces upper-body fatigue.

  • Uses a familiar and efficient human motion.

  • Is intuitive to learn and operate.

  • Maintains a compact footprint suitable for everyday environments

Tea and coffee cups often leave stains, moisture rings, and heat marks on tables when placed directly on surfaces. Despite being provided with saucers, users frequently set cups down without them.

The Idea -
This cup and saucer set is designed to encourage users to always place the cup on its dedicated saucer. The cup features a rounded base that cannot stand independently, while the saucer has a matching recessed profile that securely cradles it.

Design Challenge

Urban commuters need a bicycle that is efficient, visually distinctive, and capable of extending its electric range without frequent charging, while maintaining a clean and functional design.

The Idea -
The concept features innovative rimless (spokeless) wheels, reducing visual clutter and creating a striking identity. A hub-integrated dynamo converts pedaling energy into electricity, continuously charging the onboard battery and powering the electric assist system. The frame seamlessly integrates the battery, electronics, and drivetrain to create a unified, minimal form.
